VIP is more than a front row
On the official Gwanghwamun plan, the yellow VIP zone spans the front and middle of central block B, with some inner seats in side blocks A and C. It can suit a preference for a central view of the drawings and projected effects. Booking VIP chooses this grade, not one guaranteed row or seat.
Compare the side and rear positions
The blue R zone includes the back of central block B and middle rows in the side blocks. Green S seats appear along the outside edges and in separate blocks at the very back. A central R position and a side R position can therefore have different viewing angles. Use the zone map instead of treating each grade as one straight band.
Match the map to your booking
These zones belong to Gwanghwamun's Kyunghyang Art Hill theatre. The Painters also performs at Seodaemun's NH Art Hall, which has a different plan.
