Choose the night bus for a city overview with a Namsan photo stop; choose a Han River cruise for an evening on the water. They leave from different parts of Seoul and are not interchangeable tickets. For the cruise, the option name matters: sunset, moonlight music and starlight sailings have different lengths and routes.

City views with a photo stop
Start at Gwanghwamun for the night bus. It returns after a circuit rather than working as evening hop-on transport.
A slower riverside evening
Start from Yeouido for Eland. Build dinner or a riverside walk around your sailing time.
| Experience | Time and route | Where to start |
|---|---|---|
| Seoul City Tour Bus · night course | 90-minute circuit with one 25-minute Namsan photo stop; no hop-on/hop-off | Gwanghwamun ticket booth |
| Klook · Eland Sunset Cruise | 40-minute sailing; Seogang Bridge route | Yeouido Eland pier |
| Klook · Eland Moonlight Music Cruise | 70-minute sailing; Banpo Bridge route | Yeouido Eland pier |
| Klook · Eland Starlight Cruise | 50-minute sailing; Seogang Bridge route | Yeouido Eland pier |
Seoul City Tour Bus: one circuit, not a late transport pass
The official night course leaves at 19:00 from January–April and September–December, or 19:30 from May–August. Plan to arrive 40 minutes before departure. Seating is first come, first served; the bus type is not guaranteed. Monday is normally closed, with the closure shifted to Tuesday after a public-holiday Monday. Same-day online booking is unavailable.
Klook cruise options: match the sailing to your evening
Eland’s Sunset option departs at 18:00 from February–October and 17:00 from November–January. Moonlight Music has 19:00 and 20:30 departures from April–November, while Starlight is later at 22:00. Winter schedules differ. A fireworks option is a separate selected-date sailing, so a regular night ticket does not promise fireworks. Bring ID or a passport and arrive 20 minutes early.
A useful alternative depends on where your day ends
After the palaces or Insadong, the Gwanghwamun departure avoids an extra cross-city trip. If you are already visiting Yeouido, dinner followed by a cruise is a simpler route. The bus offers several city views but limited time off the vehicle; the cruise offers more time seated by the river. Leave room for the journey back to your hotel.
Compare matching options at the booking step
Use the same date, age group and experience when comparing a Klook ticket with a direct booking. The cheapest price on a multi-option cruise page may belong to a different sailing. Look for the package name first, then its departure time, cancellation terms and total for your group.
A good fit when…
- An evening route around Gwanghwamun or Yeouido
Reconsider when…
- Choosing a sailing solely from the lowest starting price
A few things worth knowing
Can I hop off the Seoul night bus and rejoin later?
The official night course is a round trip with one Namsan photo stop, not hop-on/hop-off transport.
Does every Eland night cruise pass Banpo Bridge?
No. The Moonlight Music option uses the Banpo route, while the Sunset and Starlight options use the Seogang route. Weather or event restrictions can change sailings.
