Catch your first waves at Gwakji Beach

Start on the sand, practise with an English-speaking instructor, then enjoy free riding at Bagus Surfing School. Allow about three hours, including a 100-minute lesson and one hour of free surfing. Age 14+. April–October; times follow the tide. Bring swimwear and a towel and arrive 10 minutes early.

Choose a beginner lesson with two hours of coaching and one hour to practise, or three-hour board-and-wetsuit rental for independent surfing. Age 12+. Lessons need at least two participants. Bring a swimsuit, towel and toiletries. Rental-only does not include teaching.
