Does Visit Busan Pass include the Sky Capsule?

Separate the paid Sky Capsule from the included Beach Train. Plan ticket collection, boarding time and the remaining cost of your coastal day.

Updated Oct 2, 2026

No. Visit Busan Pass includes the Haeundae Beach Train’s pass-for-all-stops ticket, not the Sky Capsule. If the colourful elevated capsule is the experience you want, budget for a separate ticket and keep that cost outside your pass savings calculation.

Beach Train · pass benefit

Collect the included ticket and follow the first boarding station and time printed on it.

Sky Capsule · separate purchase

Book the exact direction and departure slot you want. The pass does not pay for this ride.

Collect a ticket before boarding

The official pass listing names Mipo, Cheongsapo and Songjeong as ticket-issuing stations. Your exchanged ticket has a first boarding point and time; follow those details rather than joining any queue with the pass alone. Boarding closes ten minutes before departure, so allow extra time for the exchange.

All stops does not mean unlimited repeats

The included ticket is for use that day, with one re-boarding at each station. Plan the order of your stops before getting off. The pass operator also notes a different ticket for first boarding after 6 pm because less operating time remains. For an evening-only visit, check the ticket you will receive before relying on an all-stops plan.

Build around your must-do ride

If the capsule is your priority, secure its departure first, then fit a meal and a walk around it. If your goal is a relaxed coast ride with several stops, the Beach Train may already meet that need. Doing both is a choice, not a requirement; leave enough time to reach the next platform without rushing.

Count only the savings you can use

For a pass comparison, count the Beach Train only if you would otherwise buy that ticket. Keep the capsule quote, food and travel to the first station as separate costs. Compare that total with your independent-day budget. A pass is not automatically better just because the two rides appear in the same coastal itinerary.

A good fit when…

  • A Beach Train day combined with other pass attractions you already want to visit.

Reconsider when…

  • Buying the pass mainly for a Sky Capsule ride or assuming pass entry reserves a departure.

Before you go

  • Choose Beach Train, Sky Capsule or both before buying.
  • Note ticket-collection station, first boarding point and time.
  • Keep separately purchased rides out of the pass savings total.

Busan sightseeing with the Sky Capsule

★ 8/10 · 2 reviews · Civitatis

An English-guided Busan outing including a Sky Capsule ride. A capsule can be shared with other travellers. The page gives different duration estimates in its summary and itinerary, so confirm the return time directly rather than relying on a single number. This is a tour package, not a standalone Sky Capsule ticket.
