BUSAN · 2026 BUSAN HEALING FESTA IN BEOMEOSA
Beomeosa Hosts Three Days of Temple Wellness in Busan
A three-day wellness festival at Beomeosa pairs meditation and movement with forest activities, an evening temple walk and a dedicated shuttle.

Beomeosa is hosting a three-day autumn programme built around low-distraction time in a temple setting. The useful decision is not simply which day to visit, but which activity to secure and how to reach the mountain venue without relying on festival parking.
Movement, stillness and an evening option
Busan’s preview names temple yoga and barre, digital-detox sessions, a moonlight night walk, forest trail running and meditation among the main activities. That range means the festival is not one continuous show: a quiet meditation session, a fitness class and a trail run have different clothing, timing and capacity needs. Select the session first, then read its conditions on the official festival page.
Registration matters more than general entry
The city announcement points visitors to Visit Busan and the festival’s official site for full details, and it does not publish one blanket admission price. Do not assume that arriving at the temple guarantees a place in a class or activity. Confirm registration status, remaining capacity, language support and any fee for the exact programme; ordinary temple access is not the same as a reserved wellness session.
Plan transport and temple etiquette together
A circulating shuttle is planned for visitor convenience, but its stops and times should be checked before departure. Wear modest, activity-appropriate clothing, keep voices low around worship areas and leave extra time between sessions. The KoreaSeek tours below feature another Busan temple and must be booked separately; they do not enter Beomeosa’s festival programme.
Before you go
- The festival runs October 23–25 at Beomeosa’s grounds and Seon Culture Education Center; programme times vary by day.
- Choose a specific activity—such as yoga, barre, meditation, forest trail running or the evening walk—before deciding when to arrive.
- Check the official festival page for advance registration, remaining capacity, age or fitness rules and any programme-specific fee.
- Use the event shuttle information where practical; parking at a major temple event may be limited.
- Dress respectfully for an active temple and bring layers suitable for outdoor autumn sessions.
