Gyochon Busking 2026: four autumn nights beside Woljeonggyo
How to plan one of four Gyochon Village busking evenings in Gyeongju, with dates, venue and practical checks for an outdoor night.

Gyochon Village is hosting four busking evenings on October 16, 17, 23 and 24, using Woljeonggyo’s illuminated surroundings as the backdrop. Twelve teams are due to perform across styles ranging from classical and jazz to pop, hip-hop, acoustic music and popera.
Pick an actual performance date
The published dates are Friday and Saturday, October 16–17 and October 23–24. The series is not described as a continuous daily event between those dates, so travellers should choose one of the four listed nights rather than arrive on an intervening weekday.
Expect variety, but confirm the running order
The city lists twelve participating teams and a broad mix of instruments and performance methods, including piano, guitar, saxophone, morin khuur and loop station. It does not provide the complete nightly running order in the announcement.
The Gyeongju Cultural Foundation is the place to check the detailed schedule and any weather notice. Because this is an evening outdoor programme, bring a layer and keep a rain alternative even if daytime conditions look comfortable.
Build the evening around the venue
The stage is planned for the courtyard of the Gyochon Promotion Center, with Woljeonggyo’s night view nearby. Confirm the start time, walking route and return transport before committing to a late dinner or another reservation.
The linked Gyeongju experiences are separate paid bookings. Their price, guide language, admission inclusions and finish time do not include the busking programme or guarantee arrival before a performance.
Before you go
- Visit on October 16, 17, 23 or 24 rather than an intervening date.
- Check the Cultural Foundation’s detailed time and weather notice.
- Plan the evening return journey from Gyochon Village.
- Keep any daytime tour booking separate and verify its finish time.
