Seoul’s riverside barbecue weekend returns to Nanji Campground on October 24 and 25, but advance reservations for self-BBQ tables have closed. Visitors may still try limited first-come seating or buy prepared food at BBQ Village. Because neither option guarantees a table or a particular menu, travelers should treat the festival as a flexible Hangang stop, keep a backup meal plan, and check the official notice again before departure.

Options without a reservation

Self-BBQ sessions run 12:00–14:30, 15:00–17:30 and 18:00–20:30 each day. The city says some seats may be available first-come, but it does not guarantee a place for every walk-in visitor.

BBQ Village uses on-site kiosk ordering from 12:00 to 19:30. Menu stock can change, so visitors with allergies or dietary restrictions should ask vendors directly before paying.

Know what each payment covers

The published self-cooking table fee is KRW 20,000 for charcoal or KRW 10,000 for a griddle. Meat, vegetables, drinks and other ingredients must be purchased separately.

The Han River experiences linked below are independent products. A tour booking does not include festival seating, food or shuttle travel, and festival attendance does not reserve a cruise.

Plan transport and timing

The city lists paid festival shuttles from Digital Media City Station and Mangwon Hangang Park at KRW 1,200. Recheck exact departure times because event operations and traffic can affect the journey.

The free children’s play area is listed from 12:00 to 17:00, earlier than the final barbecue session. Evening visitors should bring layers and allow extra time for kiosks and return transport.

Before you go

  • Recheck the official page for weather and shuttle updates.
  • Treat walk-in seating as first-come and not guaranteed.
  • Budget separately for the table, food, drinks and transport.
  • Ask vendors directly about allergens before purchase.
  • Reserve any cruise separately and confirm its boarding point.
