When to start your Visit Busan Pass: morning or afternoon?

Plan the first ticket and the next day together, so your 24-hour pass fits the trip you want.

Updated Oct 2, 2026

An afternoon arrival need not turn into a rushed sightseeing race. A 24-hour pass runs from your first included attraction ticket, rather than resetting at midnight. Choose the first stop with tomorrow in mind: when do you leave, and is there somewhere you still want to visit in the morning?

Start in the morning

Useful when today is your full sightseeing day and tomorrow is for departure.

Start after lunch

Worth considering if you arrive later and can visit another attraction tomorrow morning.

Day one: drop your bags before starting the clock

Picture arriving hungry with a suitcase. A meal, hotel stop and short beach walk can make a better start than a hurried ticket collection at an attraction. Collect a physical card along your route if needed, then head to your chosen first venue when you are ready. Collection and the first attraction ticket are different moments.

A 13:00 start: keep the next morning nearby

For a 24-hour example, a first ticket at 13:00 today means planning the final included ticket before 13:00 tomorrow. Leave a comfortable margin for reaching the counter and waiting your turn. A nearby morning stop is easier to enjoy than a distant attraction squeezed in before checkout. The venue’s own last-admission time also applies.

Planning a day by the sea
A little planning, more time for the view.

A favourite view can be worth a second visit

If you fall for a sunset view, returning is a lovely choice. Just keep the second paid entry outside your pass savings: the official FAQ gives one benefit per attraction. You can also return to the surrounding beach or neighbourhood for a different mood without building the day around another ticket.

Finish with a day you would enjoy anyway

Write the first and final paid stops beside your departure time. If that last attraction makes lunch, luggage collection or the journey to the station stressful, drop it. Compare the remaining tickets with the pass price again. A shorter route that fits your trip is more useful than a long list of theoretical savings.

A few things worth knowing

Does transport use start the sightseeing clock?

Transport and attraction timing are separate. However, the official purchase policy says topping up or using transport can remove refund eligibility. Check that policy before charging a card you might cancel.

Before you go

  • First ticket time
  • Tomorrow’s final stop and departure
  • Time to collect bags and reach the station
